| I started looking for what was missing and I realized it was God. I visited some churches and found my spiritual and misical home at Park Avenue Baptist Church (PABC) in Riverside. The choir director, at that time, who was Gloria Blaylock saw a talent in me that had not recognized before. She asked me to improvise by adding my own input and flavor when performing. My family and I have been members at PABC for many years. Since I joined the choir, I have participated in many events at the church including the PABC Mass Choir Musical for the last seven years. I am now acting as the leader for the Tenor section. My peformances include the following: The Southern California Baptist Congress Choir at the LA Convention Center, The Unknown Celebrity Talent Show, The Dream Show for Dream World-Wide Television, Wedding Vocalist for I Do Weddings in Moreno Valley California, The Airtouch Cellular Celebration, and AT&T American Idol Contest for two consecutive years as well as other appearances for Churches when requested. I give to God all the glory and honor for my gifts and I will always give him the praise even through the difficult times, such as the loss of my Mother and most recently my Father to cancer. I also found the strength to sing at his funeral. The loss of my parents has made me realize that life is to short and every person should apply the gifts that God has given to him or her, whether it is speaking, singing, ushering or teaching.
