Welcome to Papa Bear's blog! Papa Bear started singing when he was about nine years of age. He won his first talent contest when he was in the seventh grade. Papa Bear also won the best male vocalist of the year, during the seventh through the ninth grades. When Papa Bear got to High School he started singing with a group called "SIGNIFICANCE OF SOUL" and they entered in talent shows for three years while in High School and wo! After High School Papa Bear performed with many bands, before he started to sing solo. Papa Bear went on to perform every Thursday night at a Los Angeles based night club called Backwaters. He opened for many comedians such as Pierre, Guy Torre, Angela Means and different other artists who have gone on to make a name for themselves. Papa Bear then went on to perform for Queen Latifah on her show ("Living Single"). Papa Bear gives all praise to God for the gift he has blessed him with, and we hope that his music will go to heights never seen before! |
